Store and product data
We store installation and authentication records, store identity, verified subscription state, sale settings, reviewed product and variant identifiers, product titles, original and sale prices, and individual application and restoration results. Temporary price reviews expire after 15 minutes. Approved sale records remain while the app is installed so you can review changes and restoration issues. AI request timestamps support allowance and rate limits.
We read product names, variants, prices, categories, tags, available images and collection titles to build the picker and review. We do not request customer or order records. Optional storefront countdowns contain campaign names, headlines, end times and the public sale-price details they display. The countdown uses no shopper tracking or analytics.
Optional AI
On Pro, requesting an AI draft sends your brief, up to 200 displayed product/variant identifiers, names, categories and tags, and store currency and timezone to the AI service. The form asks for your consent first. Customer data, authentication credentials, product prices and raw storefront HTML are not included in that payload. Do not put sensitive personal information in your brief.
AI produces an editable draft and cannot approve or execute price changes. We send requests with response storage disabled. The AI service’s applicable retention terms, including abuse monitoring, still apply; this setting does not guarantee zero provider retention. Contact us for details about AI data processing. Raw briefs and AI responses are not saved in the application database. Sale settings you approve are saved as campaign records.
Optional storefront features
When you enable a countdown, we write the minimum public campaign details to Shopify metafields for the theme extension. You add the block or activate the banner in your theme editor. When you enable a sale collection, we create and publish that collection to the Online Store and record its identifier and our selection so we can remove only that selection when the campaign ends.
Optional email notifications
In Notifications, you can provide and confirm an email address and choose sale and trial alerts, welcome and setup help, and a separate optional feedback request. All categories start off. Installing the app does not subscribe you to marketing or review emails. We do not use Shopify staff-session email addresses as notification recipients.
We store the address you provide, your requested and confirmed preferences, consent timestamps and email delivery records. Resend processes the recipient address and message content to deliver the categories you request. Messages may include store and campaign names, schedules, result counts or a verified trial end. They do not include customer or order records. We do not add email tracking pixels or enable open or click tracking. Resend’s applicable processing and retention terms still apply.
You can change your choices in the app or unsubscribe using any email. Unsubscribing stops future messages; a message already accepted for delivery may still arrive. Uninstalling disables preferences and cancels queued messages. Delivery records are retained for up to 90 days for troubleshooting and duplicate-send prevention. Consent and suppression records remain with your store record and are deleted with Shopify’s shop/redact event.
Hosting and retention
Netlify hosts the app and opaque scheduled wake identifiers. Neon stores application records. Shopify provides app authentication, catalogue access and billing. Authentication sessions are removed when Shopify’s uninstall notification is processed. Store records, including sale history and AI request timestamps, are deleted when Shopify’s shop/redact compliance event is processed. Wake identifiers contain no store domain, product details or prices and are removed after processing.
Restricted release backups are used only for recovery. Contact us to request access to or deletion of data retained in a backup.
Support correspondence
If you contact SaleSwitch support, we receive your address, message and any store or campaign details you include. Resend receives and forwards messages from our support address to our monitored Google-hosted inbox. These providers process email content and delivery information so we can receive and respond to your request.
We retain support correspondence only as needed to resolve your request and meet legitimate business obligations. Do not send passwords, access tokens, payment details or shopper personal information.
Your choices and requests
You can configure sales manually, decline AI processing, cancel a sale before it starts and end active sales. Contact us to request access to or deletion of your app data.
Before uninstalling, end active sales and check every restoration result. Shopify removes app access on uninstall. SaleSwitch cannot restore remaining prices after that access is removed.
This policy covers the Shopify app. The public Ecommlist website uses Google Analytics and standard hosting logs as described in the website privacy notice.
