Troubleshooting SaleSwitch

The sale is scheduled but prices have not changed

Confirm the reviewed start time and timezone, then inspect Your sales. Scheduled means saved for processing. Background processing depends on service and Shopify API availability; larger campaigns can take several minutes. Review actual applied, skipped, failed or uncertain counts.

If a review expired, make a fresh review before approving. If the app cannot verify your plan, refresh the plan before scheduling a new sale. You can still end and restore an existing sale.

A product does not look discounted

Check the selected variant and its actual price and compare-at price in Shopify. Already-discounted items are skipped by default. Only selected variants change. Your theme controls sale labels and comparison display.

SaleSwitch changes base catalogue prices in the store currency. Fixed market, B2B and supplier-controlled prices are outside this release. Do not assume a different market or sales channel will show the same presentation.

The countdown is missing

Confirm the campaign started and the exact selected variant has a successfully applied discount with matching current prices. The clock hides after the end time or when the variant/context is ineligible.

In the intended published theme, add the product app block or activate the banner app embed, then click Save. Check the storefront outside the illustrative app preview. A product template without the block will not display it. A later-starting eligible banner campaign can replace an earlier banner.

The sale collection is missing or still exists

Check collection setup results in Your sales. A collection is created only after confirmed price application, and skipped variants are excluded. Collection features need a Shopify plan that supports collections. Add the navigation link yourself.

The collection remaining after a sale is expected: SaleSwitch removes its tracked selections while retaining the collection and your additions. Product cards can show other regular-price variants of the same product.

A restoration needs review

Inspect both current price fields in Shopify and the original/applied pairs in SaleSwitch. A later edit is preserved for your decision; an uncertain result needs a direct check. Keep current prices records your choice without editing prices.

Before uninstalling, end active sales and check every restoration result. Shopify removes app access on uninstall. SaleSwitch cannot restore remaining prices after that access is removed.
